How to quickly adjust focus

The picture shows the adjustable focus module A40630. For example, if the position is adjusted to a gap of about 2.5mm, a relatively short focus position can be obtained for engraving or cutting. You can also not adjust it. The relative long focus position has a longer light waist. You can adjust it to the focus you are used to as needed. The closer the focus, the better the engraving effect. The medium-long focus has a relatively better effect on cutting thick materials.

For example, if you usually use 3mm material as the distance between the module and the engraving material, you can adjust the focus to a position 3mm away from the module. You only need to put a piece of 3mm material between the material and the module to complete the focus.

Low light intensity adjustment

Adjust the suitable low light through the software. The NEJE mode can be adjusted in the “Settings” column of the NEJE Win software; the GRBL mode can be adjusted in the “Grbl Configuration” of the laserGRBL software, which has been explained above.

–Why NEJE software does not require cross hairs?

Many traditional users have a cognitive inertia that laser equipment always needs crosshairs for positioning. However, for diode lasers, it is a visible wavelength, and even IR lasers can be combined with red lasers to help positioning, so this is very different from CO2 laser equipment. When the NEJE team designed the first diode laser 10 years ago, they used the weak light display as a positioning operation method by designing firmware. The weak light position is the actual laser position, so it can innovatively control the engraving position accurately through point positioning and box positioning.

REC transmission

REC is an innovative data transmission method invented by the NEJE team for lightburn software. It can directly send the edited data file to the NEJE device before starting the work. This process has some uncontrollable factors and data interruption risks, such as USB interface instability, computer failure and other factors that will cause project failure.

Offline “one key start”

One-key start is NEJE's classic and efficient operation method. NEJE5 has built-in NEJE firmware and optimized GRBL firmware. Air Assist

Air assist is a complex and specialized field for laser equipment, which often requires different air assist solutions based on the materials, maintenance and process effects we actually operate.

A: When dealing with regular engraving and small amount of cutting tasks, we can use the module's own cooling system to protect the lens through airflow, which can largely eliminate the need for an additional AOC oxygen machine to protect the lens.

B: The needle-tube high-pressure air nozzle can use oil-containing and water-containing air sources as air assist. Through the high-pressure gas assist, when cutting wood or HDF boards, it can cut more efficiently and make the edges more.

C. The cavity-type air-assisted configuration is suitable for oil-free and water-free gas sources. Compared with the needle-tube gas nozzle, it consumes relatively more gas, but is easier to operate.

The above three solutions can protect the lens and enhance cutting to a certain extent, but the lens also needs regular maintenance, which can be cleaned with alcohol and cotton swabs.

Quiet design

NEJE module driver has built-in control program. The module uses high-life and high-speed double ball bearing fans. Motion Parameters

NEJE device models have motion parameters set by default. For novices, you do not need to change them. Area Extension

3 ways to expand the area:

a.Adjust the X-axis screw to increase the height by about 30mm

b.Purchase a modification kit to replace the Y-axis rail, or replace the X and Y-axis rails to obtain a maximum working area of ​​X=290mm, Y=430mm

c.Prepare a standard 2040 track less than 2 meters long, make a set of wires and matching length of synchronous belt with steel wire core, and easily transform it into a super large working area equipment, with the maximum working area reaching X=290mm, Y=1820mm.

The default area of ​​NEJE 5 is 170*170mm. After changing the hardware area by expanding the track, you need to modify the area parameters of the firmware, software, and device.

NEJE 5 adopts independent Z-axis expansion. You don’t need to transform the Y-axis into a rotation axis. You can directly lock the Y-axis and expand the rotation axis through the Z-axis. If you are a professional, you can even expand automatic material change.

M8,M7,Door

The NEJE series devices support M8, M7, and Door function expansion. We usually use M8 to control automatic air assist, which is used to assist in cutting or protect the lens. It can automatically control the gas supply when the equipment starts and ends. You can connect M8 through a relay switch or electromagnetic air valve. The M7 function can be configured in the lightburn software and NEJE software to check whether it is enabled. Usually, we use M7 to expand the automatic smoke discharging system, and we usually use relay modules to control the power supply of smoke discharging equipment. The Door function mainly expands safety functions. NEJE engineers have designed expansion functions for flame sensors, emergency stops, and safety doors.
